Submitting samples

Samples should be provided in individual sealed evidence containers or folders as described in the section on  "preparing samples".

Samples should be sent using FEDERAL EXPRESS, US Postal Service Overnight delivery, or any other option that provides a tracking number for the materials in transit.

A chain-of-custody form is requested for each material provided for stable isotope ratio analysis. As a minimum, this form must include the name, address, and contact information for the individual supplying the information; case number or other appropriate reference information; and a description of the evidence.
